This 7-day safari begins in Nairobi and unfolds into an extraordinary journey across Kenya’s most diverse and contrasting landscapes-offering a perfect balance of adventure, wildlife, and scenic beauty.
Travel north into the rugged, semi-arid wilderness of Samburu National Reserve, a remote and less-crowded gem known for its unique wildlife species often referred to as the Special Five-including the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. From there, journey to the foothills of Mount Kenya and explore Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a leading conservation success story in East Africa. Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu
Pick-up from Nairobi and drive north, crossing the equator near Nanyuki, to Samburu National Reserve. Afternoon game drive.
Day 2: Samburu
Full day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and evening game drives, searching for the Samburu Special Five
Day 3: Samburu - Ol Pejeta
Drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy for an afternoon game drive and rhino tracking.
Day 4: Ol Pejeta
Morning visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary, then drive to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy a boat safari and a walking safari at Crescent Island.
Day 5: Naivasha – Masai Mara
Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Afternoon relaxation followed by a game drive and sundowner.
Day 6: Masai Mara
Full day game drives in Masai Mara National Reserve, with opportunities to spot the Big Five and abundant wildlife.
